Minister of Art & Jump är den svenske konstnären Fredrik Axwik. Sedan 1998 har Axwik varit verksam som ”Eternal Minister of Art & Jump” i Ladonia, se: www.ladonia.com, där har han införlivat en del av sitt konstnärskap. Minister of Art påbörjade sin livslånga performance ”HopArt” år 2002 och den har varit ett sammanhängande projekt sedan dess. I olioka performances har hopp genomförts över hela Sverige, i Finland och Kanada. Att hoppa i sjön är den ultimata protesten. Varje ”HopArt” hopp utförs som en protest mot tingens ordning. En protestlista presenteras och publiken kan lista saker de vill protestera mot. När hoppet utförts är problemen lösta. Axwik har bland annat utbildat sig i konst och konstteori, 1900-talets konst och tankar kring ljudkonst vid Konsthögskolan Valand i Göteborg och i Konstnärlig kommunikation vid Högskolan för scen och musik, Göteborgs Universitet.
Minister of Art & Jump is the Swedish artist Fredrik Axwik. Minister of Art started the lifelong performance “HopArt” in 2002 and it has been a continuum project ever since. Jumps have been carried out in performances all over Sweden and in Finland and Canada. To go jump in the lake is the ultimate protest. Every “HopArt” jump is performed as a protest against the scheme of things. A protest list is presented and the audience can list things they would like to protest against. When the jump is carried out the problems are solved. Axwik is educated in Art and Art theory, 20th century Art and Ideas about Sound-Art at Valand School of Fine Arts in Gothenburg, and in Artistic Communication at the Academy of Music and Drama, University of Gothenburg.
