Jason Lim föddes i Singapore 1966. Lims konstrepertoar omfattar keramik, videokonst, installationer och performancekonst. Jason Lim har examen i från St Martins College of Art & Design, Storbritannien och gjorde sin Master i konst på Royal Melbourne Institute Technology University i Australien. Han har bjudits in att presentera performance i mer än 16 länder. Lim har organiserat och skapat olika plattformar för alternativa konstutövare. Han var co-curator för Future of Imagination 2 & 5, ett internationellt möte för performancekonst i Singapore 2004 och 2008. År 2007 presenterade Lim sitt arbete, Walking Sticks, vid den 4:e World Ceramics Biennale i Korea, där han vann juryns pris. Samma år skapade Lim också Just Dharma och Light Weight i Singapores Paviljong på den 52:e Venedigbiennalen. 

Jason Lim was born in Singapore in 1966. Lim’s repertoire of works encompasses ceramics, video art, installation art and performance art. Jason Lim has a Bachelor of Arts from Central St  Martin’s College of Art & Design, U.K. and a Master of Fine Arts from the Royal Melbourne Institute Technology University in Australia. He has been invited to present performance art in more than 16 countries. Lim has organized and created various platforms for alternative art practitioners to meet and collaborate. He was co-Artistic Director of Future of Imagination 2 & 5, an international performance art meeting held in Singapore in 2004 and 2008. In 2007, Lim presented his work, Walking Sticks, at the 4th World Ceramics Biennale in Korea winning the Juror’s Prize. In the same year, Lim also created Just Dharma and Light Weight at the Singapore Pavilion in the 52nd Venice Biennale.
