Monika Günther (f.1944) och Ruedi Schill (f.1941) utvecklar i sin performancekonst sparsamma bilder av en suggestiv kraft. Deras dialogverk bygger på medvetet långsamma och lugna rörelser som understryker deras fysiska närvaro och skapar en annorlunda tidsupplevelse i sitt repetitiva utförande. Verken behandlar känslor av fångenskap, maktlöshet och sårbarhet, eller upplevelsen av omätbar rymd. Günther och Schill har utfört performanceverk i flertalet europeiska länder, samt i Kanada, Mexiko, Vietnam, och Chile för att nämna några exempel. Sedan 1995 har de tillsammans undervisat i performancekonst vid högskolor och universitet. 2004 mottog de staden Luzerns konstpris i Schweiz.

In their performance art, Monika Günther (b.1944) and Ruedi Schill (b.1941) convey austere images of suggestive power. Their dialogue piece is based on purposefully slow and calm movements that underline their physical presence and creates a different form of time experience with its repetitive execution. The piece deals with feelings associated with captivity, powerlessness and vulnerability, or the experience of incalculable space. Günther and Schill have performed in several European countries as well as Canada, Mexico, Vietnam and Chile, to name a few. They have taught performance art together at academies and universities since 1995. In 2004 they were awarded the Luzerne City Art Prize.
